Inclusion 2013

An anthology of student's poems as part of the

Fermoy International Poetry Festival

In 2013 the transition year students at Coláiste an Chraoibhín in Fermoy  joined the students from the other 2 secondary schools and Youthreach and attended my poetry workshops. The student anthology included poems from these students and for the first time overseas students from JF Kennedy High School in Sacramento California.

                             Hopeful

                             When you were five
                             You had pink toys
                             No one questioned
                             And no one laughed.

                            When you will be thirty
                            You'll have a family
                            no one will question.

                            But now you are sixteen

                            You have secrets
                            That everyone questions
                            And everyone laughs
